Is it me or have some people lost all disregard for vehicle safety. I’ve been living in the upstate for close to 12 years. In those 12 years I’ve seen the population skyrocket and drivers disregarding safety more and more. Why do drivers think it’s ok to run red lights 2 to 3 seconds after they have turned red. I see it 10 to 20 times a day. I just feel it’s a matter of time before I get hit and injured really bad. This needs to be addressed by our public officials. Maybe they need to have cameras that record the violation and a picture of the driver and license plate like they do in Europe. What are y’all’s thoughts on the matter.
We moved here two years ago and have noticed the same thing. I also hear of a lot of hit skip when I listen to the news here.
A recent resident I admit to never seeing anything like it is here with disrespect for traffic lights any place I’ve lived. Agree intersection cameras and mailing traffic violations notices & bills to violators could change things dramatically for the better.
I fully agree. Running red lights seems to be a common practice. Then when an accident transpires - especially a tragic one - they are sorry! Well, suffice it to say that that rational isn't acceptable. Grow up!
YOU ARE SO RIGHT EVERYTIME I LEAVE THE HOUSE I SEE IT AT ALMOST EVERY STOPLIGHT & NOT ONLY OE CAR UT SEVERAL CARS WILL GO THROUGH.
This morning about 1030am at Gap Creek and 357 light, a brown and tan Motorhome / RV ran a red light completely disregarding the safety of all the other drivers.
We moved here just over 2 years ago and we noticed the same behavior to the point we just call red lights here "Spartanburg Greens"
I agree with you 100 percent ! THEY DO THAT AND PULL OUT IN FRONT OF YOU WHEN NO ONE IS BEHIND YOU AND THEN DRIVE 30 MILES AN HOUR ! SO FRUSTRATING !
Yes, it's crazy. We've only been here in this state 7 months and it's insane❗ I've never in my life seen such rude drivers. Everyone speeds and tailgates as well as running red lights and turning left in front of you when the light is green. Left hand turns are illegal in California. You can only make a left turn if the green arrow is on. I've asked the state troopers as well as the DMV and, they tell me it's illegal to make a left turn unless there is a green arrow. Thing is, trooper says there aren't enough officers to cover the influx and the infrastructure here isn't being dealt with. The roads are not adequate for all this traffic.
Yes, I was told the same thing about the lack of State officers. That is a poor excuse when you have these drivers thinking they live in NASCAR country and drive like total fools. This State has more fatalities than any state in the country. That’s a fact!
actually Mississippi has the highest traffic fatalities, South Carolina is second. And if people are tailgating you then that just means you are going to slow it’s not hard to move.
I agree too and I am from around. I try to wait a few seconds b/f acting on green. It is especially bad on the 4 major WS intersections. And I never see police watching or pulling anyone over. I like the idea of cameras but our law makers seem to dislike them.
Agree-Never proceed until I look both ways. It’s sad and scary.
I see it all the time.. our insurance tripled from pa to here and we’ve had zero accidents or tickets…crazy!!
I get passed on double yellow lines all the time on Anderson Mill road. I guess 35 speed limit just won't do for those passing me. Time of day doesn't matter either. One morning I was turning left & had my turn signal on & I got passed in the direction I was turning..
ME too!! I live on down Anderson MILL near diary farm . Been out here since '92. I can't you how many times I've been passed on yellow line. Another bad place is where Old Anderson MILL Rd. runs into Anderson MILL. People just keep going unto Anderson MILL, they don't stop at STOP sign. That's 6 points on a license. The county doesn't have the man power. WOW!!! The tickets they could write in just ONE hour!!!
I know, like I was saying, these are the rudest driver's I've ever seen.
I agree! Just last month, my daughter was coming up to a green light, she looked both ways, proceeded through, and a car shot through the intersection from her left and she hit them. Fortunately, no one was hurt and they took full responsibility for the accident, but still - we see it all the time. !They need more cameras at major intersections to start ticketing people who run red lights. Or do people have to die before they do anything?
they have those now in various places. Never heard how it works
People that do this keep doing it because there are no Consequences to their actions so they feel like they can do anything they feel like they want to do until our law enforcement poses consequences on those it’s only gonna get worse
Yep❗I have a similar story myself and had I not anticipated the guy coming at me had no intentions of stopping I hit my brakes in the middle of my left turn at the intersection and my light was green to go. He must have been doing 60 and I honked the horn steady. He swerved just enough to miss me buy inches.
I was passed over a double yellow line in a school zone a few weeks ago. I slowed down to observe the active school zone speed limit and car behind me ran up to my bumper. The lady proceeded to tailgate and once she got a chance went around me blowing her horn and flipping me off. By the way the lady didn’t get far before she had to stop for a red light. I pulled up behind her a just shook my head in disbelief.
I’ve had to learn very quickly to just pull over as soon as possible to let people like that go on. They don’t care about my safety. But I sure do. Good luck to everyone that respects the rules and the seriousness of the situation. 🇺🇸🦅👍
We saw this in NY as well, but we had traffic cameras. I think SC is missing out on a revenue opportunity by not having them.
It’s awful. Never, ever proceed thru a green here without waiting a few seconds and then looking both ways. I saw a 5-second violator on 290 the other day that would’ve killed my daughter and me had we not looked.
The other problem is that on 29 at the Ingles market intersection the light only stays green for a few seconds and stays red for 10 minutes. Also both of those intersections need to be synced to change green at both intersections at the same time.
290 at 296 is ridiculously skewed toward Reidville Road. Those of us lined up on 290 are waiting, waiting, while theirs stays green forever; there aren’t even any vehicles going thru anymore. Then we get a 10 second green.
I grew up here and lived in 3 other cities for 10 years and we moved back home to be near to help our mothers 40 + yrs ago. The growth here has been faster than efforts to improve roads, build more schools, hire more police and fire and medical professionals and the list goes on. Growth demands infrastructure. Our leaders simply excitedly continue to bring in more business and people without considering needs of the pcitizens. I think driving on Spartanburg Roads is dangerous. As I leave my neighborhood seeing the speed and waiting for a flood of vehicles I see reckless driving especially on 290 and 296. I hear news daily of fatal accidents. I agree we have big problems managing growth. Btw stop assuming local people are the problem as this problem has grown markedly worse with growth iMO in estimated past 5 years or less. Thanks to everyone who is a safe driver. We have many people who do obey laws!
A large part of the problem is the county roads were not prepared for the influx of new residents moving here. Drivers get very inpatient trying to get from point A to point B that now takes three times longer than it did a few years ago before everyone began moving here. Our county representative said at least 500 people each month are moving here. If that's true it's only going to get worse until the roads are improved which could be years.
Unattended necessities seems would take desirability away but road building is long slow process. Both 290 and 296 were 2 lane roads in 1979 when we bought our home.
I couldn't agree more .
I see it every day. Running red lights. No signal. And driving without headlights no matter how early it is in the morning. I have almost turned in front of somebody in quite a few Occasions because they don’t have their headlights On.
GEE, have you not had the privilege of driving at night and seeing (barely) the cars driving with NO LIGHTS!!
I watched 6 cars run the traffic light at 29 and Franklin at accelerated speed on Friday afternoon. And it wasn't yellow, it was fully red. Insanity.
I agree 10000%. I count to 5 before crossing any intersection!!! Be safe out there ppl!!!
YOU need to change that to 10!!
It’s not just running red lights, it’s cutting people off and riding bumpers. Total disregard for the safety of others.
We moved here end of March from CO. We thought the drivers there were bad, but we’d take CO drivers over SC any day. HORRIBLE
same here. Been here 7 months and I thought California was bad but, it's mild there compared to here. No reason for it what so ever
A very dear friend if mine was hit by a person running a red light. She was looking in her purse for her phone to call work be abuse she was late. My friend had a broken hand. Her knees were messed up because her set was partially under dash. She is 70 and says she will never be the same.
Sest not set. The other driver was late not my friend...sorry that was unclear. I know how that is..I am 72 and I broke my shoulder 2 years ago. When you get older you don't bounce back. Please everyone...let's be more careful.
Much as I would hate the big brother concept it may be time to install cameras at major intersections. It HAS gotten ridiculous lately and someone will get killed. Plus we all pay the price with insurance costs rising.
It happens at just about every red light on east blackstock, reidville rd, John b white, and w o …
pretty much everywhere. Even Boiling Springs. Speed limit 35 & 45 most places and people are right on your number. When they pass or on a section of road with two lanes, I'm in the shower moving lane doing the speed limit and cars are flying past me
I agree this has gotten out of hand. I about got plowed into the other day on 29 a car straight up run the red light which had been red for a good 15seconds as I wait about 8seconds before going once my light turns green
I have lived all over the US. This is the most aggressive and dangerous driving conditions I have ever been in. Recommend getting a 360 dash camera. I already caught multiple T-Bones, was able to send highway patrol the footage.
I see it at least 10 times a day . Knowing that that light was a solid red
Some real “Govern me harder Daddy” comments in this thread! Lot of Cali and Colorado people crying for more laws. 😂 Driving is a risk. You have the responsibility for your own safety. Yes, people do not obey traffic laws like NY, CO, or CA. If you enact the same rules, you get the same corruption. Hell no to traffic cameras! Hell no to surrendering liberty for security! Hell no to more government involvement and power! Leave the “govern me harder daddy!” politics that ruined Cali and New York behind when you come to SC. Until we pass a law ensuring that every dollar paid in traffic fines is returned to the legal citizens of the state in the form of a check, rather than funding an unresponsive repressive police state, Hell no to more traffic laws!
not at all‼️ PEOPLE NEED TO OBEY THE LAW PERIOD ‼️
My husband and I have installed cameras in our vehicles for the front and back windows because people have gotten so crazy!
I wish I had a camera in my car yesterday when the brown/tan motor home came out of the Tymberbrook subdivision and ran the red light at 357/Gap creek at around 1030 am when I was going to Greer. There was on going traffic also it could have been a horrible accident. No regard to anyone else’s life.
I always pause when the light turns green to make sure. I've seen people blow through those red lights too many times here.
Defensive driving coarse is a must. I do it once a year because of all the craziness on the road now plus it helps with insurance rates. Cameras at traffic lights is illegal in Sc. Another big problem is that these new traffic lights with turn signal goes to yellow flashing and don’t even give you a green to turn which confuses a lot ppl
I’d really love the obnoxious racers every night to stop. You’re a big shot, we get it. Now cut it out.
YOU can hear them all the way from Anderson MILL Rd....racing on 290.
I’ve lived in Spartanburg almost 36 years. I agree; it seems that careless driving has escalated in the last two years. I traveled to Powdersville today, and I just held my breath a few times on I-85. I no longer get on the interstate without a prayer of protection, and I always make sure cars are stopping before I go at a green light. It has become a necessity!
Me too, saved my sorry behind more than once. Sometimes the car behind will blow their horn and I tell them they are #1
See it every day.
Idiot drivers everywhere!
The first thing I taught my boys when they were learning to drive was: If they were the First car at a red light, NOT TO GO when it turned green. MAKE SURE ANY RED RUNNERS were through. That was a LONG time ago as they are 43, 42 & 37 now. When I moved out near Grey Rock Dairy Farm in '92, I could turn on to Anderson MILL Road from Reidville Road and not see ONE car all the way home on many occasions. Now...it's a joke. All the roads are packed, rude drivers. Your light turns green and you have to wait for the 4,5 or 6 cars to finish going thru red light. Make sure when you leave your house to run errands you tell them "I love you", cause you may not make it back home. THEY PAVED PARADISE AND PUT UP A PARKING LOT AND A MILLION HOUSES AND CUT DOWN ALL THE TREES AND TOOK AWAY HOMES OF OUR WILDLIFE.... VERY SAD....
Traffic used to be fine here. I blame all these crazy folks moving here from else where.
I moved here from CA a month ago. The worst thing here is the driving. A complete lack of respect for others seems to be the rule in driving here. I will take California drivers over the people here any day of the week.
There is zero traffic law enforcement. We've been here 5 years and I have yet to see an officer running radar.
I mean I’m from New York so compared to there it’s nothing lol but I’ve definitely have seen a lot of red lights ran and tailgating down here for sure too!
Yea, sadly, SC has become one of the worse states to drive, and highest to insure. While it's easy to lay blame on a particular demographic / preconception maybe the reality is more nuanced - we ALL have our part in this mess: mixed cultures/driving styles, always-on/distracted drivers, self-righteous/lazy & ignorance, disregard for traffic laws, poor time management etc. No easy fix - all we can do is pray, be respectful & use common sense
We have a stop sign at our corner and lots of kids on the block. I never see anyone stop at the sign. They just run the stop sign with no regard for anything else. 😡
Maybe instead of running to government and adding more we should just let the cops or ask the cops to do their job to begin with
I moved from Texas last year and I thought I was still in Texas, the way folk run red lights here. One of the biggest contributors to red light running is the very quick traffic lights. I have never seen lights turn so quickly. Two the quickest lights are at the Reidsville Rd and Blackstock Rd intersection, and the Hwy 29 and Blackstock Rd intersection. The city should consider increasing the turn time at those lights and it may reduce the number of traffic light runners.
That is very true. The light allowing traffic to pass towards Costco at that intersection I have clocked and it stays green for 5 seconds if you are turning left .
I have lived in cities that had the traffic light cameras and the number of rear-end collisions increased drastically. Also, many groups filed lawsuits on the cities and won, requiring the cities to remove the traffic light cameras. Also, most of the money was going to the traffic light camera companies. In the articles I've read, the cities were receiving 25 to 40% of the violation fees and the camera companies were receiving the rest. Not a fan of the traffic light cameras.
.. same here. In California they were deemed illegal. But i never saw there the violations I see here. Driving while looking the opposite direction is the main shocker I've seen.
It’s terrible! I witnessed an 18 wheeler just this morning. We were sitting at red light. He was on my right. He just decided to go on red. It turned green when his trailer was about 3/4 through the light. Idk what’s happening with running lights! Yes we Need more Enforcement Of that! We watch it in Reidville in front of our shop all day long at SweetTeaStation.
Our State, if you did not know it, leads the Country in Traffic Fatalities! It was on the news back (2) months ago. People here drive as if they think they are NASCAR drivers. I live off of State Road (#357) just South of Gap Creek Road. The speed limit is (35). Most idiots go (50-60) and pass each other on the double yellow line all the time. This area is patrolled by the State Police. And, you Never see an officer giving out tickets. Just on Saturday night someone was almost killed by the Dam. This has to stop!!!
The NASCAR comment is appropriate considering that it got its beginning right here on the dirt track at the Piedmont Interstate Fairground. You can sstill see the old track there but it is no longer used for races.
You are so right! The insurance rates here are a joke! And the people need to start paying Heavy Traffic fines for driving like idiots. It will slow them down! Driving anywhere on Wade Hampton Road is a joke. You drive (45) mph and get passed like your standing still! The Police rarely ticket anyone! And tell me, how do we have so many traffic accidents, on Wade Hampton with (6) lanes, turn lanes and double lane medians? You have to be on your Stupid cell phones to collide with another vehicle with that many lanes!!!
The same thing here on State Road (#357) from Racing Road to Gap Creek Road happens every day. People are complete idiots!
Our SC law makers have made it illegal to use unmanned traffic monitoring for violations, unless there is a state of emergency.
AND....added to that, what's up with people not using their blinkers??? Are we supposed to all be mind readers and know where they're going to turn??? And, yes, terrible on the tailgating as well...even if I'm already going close to 10 mph over the limit! And, yes, I'm a transplant from another state.
I drive for a living and there are bad drivers everywhere and I don’t think cameras are the solution . We need more police.
I totally agree! I didn’t notice it as much in NC, but it seems the police don’t mind it either! I’ve seen it happen with cops sitting at the intersection and nothing…. Definitely needs to be addressed. Tenn. has a camera system for speeding. I would rather they not defund the police, but find them cameras as you said and the people to manage the overflow of violations being sent out.
I see it a lot and I am not out that much. I sit and wait until everyone is stopped before pulling out as there is always people running red lights. It needs to be stopped.
California, Nevada, and Arizona have cameras and they help. Plus, what I have noticed is people don't slow down in school zones. People honk at us when we slow down in school zones or they speed past and pull in front of us.
In Ohio the school zone was 20mph all over, unlike here where there are different speeds.
On June 14th we can vote for at least three county council members who may determine roads, growth and planning for the next the next two years. Especially if they have no democrat challengers in the Nov. general election. Three Spartanburg county council members are facing republican primary challenges on June 14. You can see what their plans are if elected in yesterday's Herald-Journal. Based on all the complaints in this post we need to push all council members to support a year's moratorium on new development and much more traffic law enforcement.
The only effect a moratorium will have is that home prices will skyrocket even more. What council members need to use in their evaluation for approving new developments is addition of new infrastructure *paid for by the developers*. What we should be thankful for is that our region is an attractive hub of activity. There are many places (South Carolina or otherwise) where there is little economic activity and young people leave the area. It comes with closed schools, closed hospitals, closed businesses and a lot of people on govt welfare.
I'm 199% with you on both topics! There is too much unrestricted development in Spartanburg now. Developers have completely destroyed the peace that I once had on Carolina Country Club Road. It seems like they have to totally destroy all the woods and fields that I once enjoyed and put up cluster houses. Speeding in Spartanburg has become a real problem too. People totally ignore the traffic laws these days.
The same is true on Westside. The beautiful trees and wildlife have all but disappeared. Trees gone one week...then, generic houses up the next. If one of those houses catch on fire, the vinyl on the houses next door will melt. All the houses look alike. All 2 stories..just wait till the people get older with bad knees, backs and hips....sad!
Makes you want to fling your dog poop bag at them ?
My husband and I see this every time we leave home…we make a ‘game’ of counting how many people blatantly run red lights! You can’t be too cautious. We frequently say that if Spartanburg had cameras & issued tickets, our taxes would go down dramatically with all the extra income!
LOL all these people who moved here from out of state, coming on ND to complain about how bad the traffic is, and how bad drivers are. It wasn't like this before they came, though. The irony.
Oddly enough the driving has made my insurance bill skyrocket. It's not newcomers so much as a new culture of don't give a damn about anybody but themselves.
If I'm waiting at a stoplight, I check that side traffic has really stopped before I enter the intersection. It's a zoo out there.
I do the same. You never know when some idiot is going to run a red light.
My dad taught me to wait a few seconds before going on green (even though people around here honk the moment the light turns green.) I’m glad he did because on Christmas Day someone was blowing down 101 at at least 80 miles an hour and never stopped at the red light. I’d likely have died if I went. I’ve noticed people going out of turn at 4 way stops too and others disregarding stop signs
I learned to wait the hard way!, I agree with what your dad taught you
I've been here 9 years and it's gotten so bad that I sit a few seconds, minutes at a green light so I don't get T-Boned. If our elected officials would get off their chairs & do something, of course, it would be a first for most if not all of them. How about all lights stay red for a few minutes. People blow their horns when I sit and wait. I'm not going to end up so badly injured because people don't stop at red lights. So blow your horns.
All the elected officials seem to want is ok’ing new housing developments!
Let's face it...the rest of the world is apparently unlivable so everyone is moving to the states and to the upstate of SC. Until something is officially does something about crazy drivers, continue to be cautious and wait a few seconds before you ease out into an intersection and then proceed with caution. I do that when I pass cars who are lined up for miles at a turn lane...sometimes someone will want to leave the turn lane and whip out in front of you, so I slow down. All we can do is be careful and be cautious, keep our eyes open and keep our attention on the road. Stay safe everyone
I just had some geriatric in a dark colored Grand Cherokee blow by me in the right lane on SC-9 to cut me off by less than 3' from my front bumper a few hours ago. Too many people don't understand how much they have to loose, the car isn't worth that much but after paying for my time off work, a shopper to find a replacement car, a rental car, my lawyer to remind him that yes, he will be paying for any and all expenses, he's out $60K-$70K assuming no one is hurt. God help him if a collections agent needs to be brought into the mix, that will at minimum double it would have cost him had he caused the accident he was trying so hard to create.
You're assuming they have insurance or own something of value. All too often, they are uninsured and own nothing, not even the car they're driving. You can't get blood out of turnip.
Drive with caution and yield to cars needing to get into your lane in front of you, it is not worth having the person cut us off in their desperation to get in. Maybe they are dieing or feeling sick or on the way to a personal desperate emergency or missing a turn . So who cares if they get in front of you unless you yourself have the same desperate situation. Dont let it steal your joy , feel happy you may have done a good deed.
You're confusing needing with wanting, that mentality is a huge part of the problem. Wouldn't have bothered me so much if he wasn't intentionally driving recklessly (6 points in SC from an officer doing their job) just to get to a red light faster and then flipped me off while sitting there going nowhere like everyone else stopped at the red light.
People drive awful down here. Well really everywhere these days for sure, but the cell phone issue is madness and people seem to have a complete disregard bc there are no consequences. I'm from up north where you get ticketed if you park over a white line. There were cameras everywhere and fines of almost $200. No one these days will do the right thing when no one's looking that's the bottom line. It's scary and dangerous. My teenager is going to start driving soon and the thought makes me sick with worry.
Sadly leadership won’t react until enough people get killed. A good driver is a defensive driven.
Wonder what local bounty is! Enough already IMO
I agree! Cameras are very much needed! I watched 3 cars go through the same red light this morning from the I-26 exit onto Reidville Rd.
The simple answer is that many people no longer care about the "rules of the road". It's the Wild West out there!
I too am here 10 years. Quite a difference in driving since I first moved here. Really scary and sad too.
Agree! It is terrible! I drive from Duncan to Haywood rd every day, Wade hampton is insane, always a dumb car trying to pass everybody else. I don’t know if I notice it more now that I have a teen daughter driving and scared me so much too see how rude and disrespectful people are.
Try driving a 18 wheeler in if u really want a good shock!
I totally agree with you!
You are right! I lived here several years until 2012. Moved back here in 2019, and it’s totally changed. Cell phone use, to me, is the issue. How in the hell do drivers think they have control of their car, driving one handed and texting with the other hand? Cops should give out big fines to Anyone they see driving and texting. Let’s see how fast these idiots keep texting with a ($500) fine for driving and texting!!!
Cameras are used effectively in 7 of the 9 southeastern states. Your esteemed state legislature has prohibited their use in SC. That’s why our state enjoys the highest per mile fatality rate in the nation. You should all call your representatives and senators and make your feelings known. Citizens for Safe Streets
That will only change when those in control get voted out for those who want more safe drivers with more cameras and smarter legislation for our citizens.
I have been a victim of such a driver, fortunately I wasn't hurt badly since the engine took the impact(T boned ). Now I don't move unless I see everyone has stopped! BE CAREFUL there are plenty of careless drivers driving
I have also been hit by such a driver. My car was totaled but I had no injuries, thank God. We have very reckless drivers here. We don't leave our house unless absolutely necessary.
The other day i was waiting to turn out of my subdivision and seen a small suv go through a light. Waited on him to pass me so i could turn out onto reidville. From the light at anderson mill ( the one he ran through) to the light at Qt, this person changed lanes 3 times, ( cutting someone off on the 1st lane change). Caught up to him at the red light, and it was a driver training suv!! Had the magnet on the side of the door for the business and everything.... so if the driver training instructors are driving this way, chances are, thats why young drivers have the mindset they do while driving.... also, watch the intersection at dennys. The u turns made there are ridiculous! Watched 5 cars, in a row, make a u turn just yesterday, almost causing a wreck. There is absolutely nothing left of basic common sense, or common courtesy anymore.
People do. not. care! I was the first car in a far right lane, stopped at a red light with several cars behind me. A car crossed 2 lanes to get in front of me & turn right. All while the light had been red for a while??? I have also noticed numerous illegal u turns recently & people on their phones veering into my lane. When you honk to alert them, they act like they're confused at why you are honking??? 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
i make it a point to be sure and lay on my horn when i see ppl on their phones or putting make up on, and the light has turned green. Not because im in a hurry to get anywhere, but in hopes it makes them realize they need to be paying better attention..... and watching them jump out of their seats is kind of amusing, lol
I'm 58 and been living here all my life. They do have cameras at some red lights but not at all of them. If you see a red light with a slight Crack and flickering it has one. Also it was reported that South Carolina was the second worst state when comes to driving. I blame it on the government for allowing alot of these kids behind the wheel to soon and being 10 years behind to accommodate all these cars on the road. Just about everybody is in a daggum hurry and not going anywhere but to an early grave.
I agree, and remember when "right on red AFTER stop" was thing? I watch people barely slow down now as they cruise through red lights while turning.
That's been being done in NY for years now. I had a few back in the day.
Seeing as most of you are new residents, you should know the root cause is unplanned growth without the infrastructure to support it. 5 minute light durations only to get 3 of 40-50 cars thru. Couple that with the craziesnths
My husband is a trucker locally and I pray for his safety everyday!! He's got some stories 😮💨
I have seen up to 7 cars go through the red, been passed on double yellow, rarely see anyone pull over or stop for . Emergency vehicles, school buses, funeral traffic. I know the same laws apply here. I checked. Also, when was it decided that the reversible lane is only used for cars being pulled over? That was a brand new observation when I moved here 12 yrs ago. 🤷♀️
Sure, if they tailgate, it means they are stupid drivers who, if they run into me, it will be a big problem for them, and not just with the car.
